Why we are allowed to process personal data
When you visit our website we use your data for the following purposes:
- To perform and fulfil your order - When you purchase on our website, we process and store your data in order to process your order and comply with our legal obligations.
- To send information about health, product offers, news and similar content if you subscribe or otherwise consent.
- To determine visitor numbers and other statistics that we obtain via cookies and similar technologies.
We process personal data in order to improve our services. By registering as a customer or placing an order you consent to the processing and storage of your data where consent is required. Without your explicit consent we may share your data only with our business partners (for example delivery and payment service providers) who participate in the fulfilment of your order, and only to the extent necessary for that purpose.
Sources of personal data
We mainly obtain personal data directly from you via our website or through communication with you. Some data may also be obtained from our partners, such as payment service providers or logistics companies.
If you complete a purchase with us, we may receive additional data in connection with the performance of the purchase contract from banks, payment processors and delivery partners, for example information about your payment, confirmation that payment has been made and that goods have been delivered or collected.
Managing your personal data
You can manage and update the data you provided via our website in the same way as when you first entered it (for example in your account settings). You can also request that we permanently delete your data from our records, except for data that we are legally required to keep in our business and tax records.

4.1 Which data we process
If you visit our website we collect some information about your actions. With cookies we may track which products you viewed, through which device, with which browser, at what time, which operating system you use and similar technical information. These technical cookies normally do not store directly identifiable personal data.
If you are a registered user we process all data you entered when registering and, when you purchase, all data from your profile and your orders. We typically process the following categories of data:
- Identification data: first name and last name, company name and VAT ID if you are a business customer, user name and password.
- Contact data: address, email address, phone number, delivery address.
- Preference data: whether you wish to receive our news, discount codes and similar information.
- Order data: ordered items, payment methods, claims and returns, data about unfinished or cancelled orders.
- Behavioural data: whether you received, opened or refused our email messages.
If you communicate with us via phone, email, contact forms, live chat or social networks, we process your identification and contact details and records of our communication (including call recordings if applicable) without separate consent based on our legitimate interest in:
- Processing your request. If you placed an order and your request relates to that order we may process the data for performance of the contract with you.
- Keeping records of your requests so we can check that they are handled correctly and on time.
- Proving that we received and handled your request, for example if you ordered goods or submitted a complaint in this way.
How long we keep your data
We keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations. In particular:
- For registered customers we normally keep account data as long as the account is active. Order data is kept for the period required by Dutch tax and accounting law (usually at least 7 years after the end of the financial year in which the invoice was issued).
- For guest customers (without registration) we keep order data for the same legal retention periods.
- For marketing contacts based on consent we keep data until you withdraw your consent or until we determine that your contact details are no longer accurate.
- In other cases we keep data for the applicable limitation periods under Dutch civil law and for an additional period where necessary to handle possible claims or procedures.
In the case of legal, administrative or other proceedings we process your personal data for the duration of that procedure and for the remaining limitation period after its conclusion.
With whom we share your personal data
We primarily process your personal data ourselves as the controller. Where necessary to perform your order or operate our business, we share your data with carefully selected partners who act as processors on our behalf and process data only in accordance with our instructions and the law.
We may share your data with:
- Delivery and logistics partners (for example postal and courier services such as PostNL or similar carriers) in order to deliver your order.
- Payment service providers and banks that process your payments (for example card processors, iDEAL providers, PayPal or similar services).
- IT service providers who maintain our website, hosting and business systems.
- Professional advisers such as accountants or legal advisers where necessary to comply with legal obligations or defend our rights.
